Marksmanship Award

The marksmanship award is given if you excel in your shooting skills. Depending on your vocation and unit, you will be given a $200 incentive if you meet the criteria for the marksmanship award.

Eligibility 

You must be medically fit and not excused from small arms firing.

Disbursement

You will receive your marksmanship award at least 14 days after the date of your test. The incentive will be automatically credited into your nominated bank account. If there are any changes in your bank account details, it is your responsibility to update them via Update My Profile on the NS Portal before filing a claim. Any changes to your personal information will take up to 3 working days to be reflected in the system.
